Challenge

To create collaborative 3-month faculty learning communities and reading groups to engage in deep learning that develops our thinking about inclusive teaching. Each faculty member received a copy of a book.

Outcome

  • Launch was successful, and faculty waiting lists were created

  • Total of 97 participating faculty members

  • 2 conference presentations by learning community members

  • 1 book published by a participating faculty member

  • 1 invited speaker, Dr. Z Nicolazzo, and 2 plenaries

  • Total of 4 Learning Communities designed, implemented, and assessed
